Elm City tracks; "We Come to Build it Back"

Area commuters and business men and women were met with "Road Closed" signs early Tuesday morning in the quaint town of Elm City, NC. With Elm City Middle school parents having to navigate around the closed railroad tracks, Mayor Tawanda Moore could be seen helping to redirect a parent to the nearest pathway to the school.

Pictured below is Operator and Fuel Maintenance man Juron Nobles who shared the purpose of CSX railroad's servicing team and their purpose of being in Elm City this week.

This week long endeavor of servincing hinges on the need to restore rail health due to "years of heavy trains and pounding" says operator Juron Nobles. "We come to build it back and strengthen it, and give it testosterone" says Nobles as he appeared to be quite proud of the work that he does.
