The Kansas City Chiefs kick off the NFL season this Thursday night in an AFC Championship rematch with the Baltimore Ravens.

For the Chiefs, they have the best quarterback in the league Patrick Mahomes. How he goes, the team goes. Returning at the skill positions are tight end Travis Kelce, receiver Rashee Rice and running back Isiah Pacheco.

They also added the speedy receiver out of Texas, Xavier Worthy, who is the fastest man to ever run the 40 at the NFL Combine. The offensive line is solid, so offensively they could be very good.

Defensively, on the other hand, they could be a little shaken early on as some of the rookies in the secondary get their bearings in a game that matters.

Tackling will be the key for the Chiefs in this game as the Baltimore Ravens have added All-Pro running back Derrick Henry. The four-time Pro Bowler has led the league in rushing twice and leads the league in broken tackles over the past two seasons with 126.

The Ravens also have one of the best, if not the best, mobile quarterback in the league with Lamar Jackson. He has quick feet and can make defenders miss regularly.

It will be important for the Chiefs' defense to stay home for their assignments and make sure they are in a position to make plays when the time comes.

The game will be televised on Prime live from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. CT.
