Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills get ready to kick off their 2024 season on Sunday afternoon against the Arizona Cardinals at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

With construction of the new Highmark Stadium entering Year 2 along Abbott Road, fans arriving to Orchard Park on game days will, once again, have to work around construction while parking for Bills games.

One of the new game day items the Bills have introduced this season is parking permits for Season Ticket holders. It will allow permit holders to park in the team parking lots all year long.

"All the Bills parking lots are permitt only, so fans that, in the past, may have shown up and parked in a Bills lot, paid cash or used a credit card, they're not going to be able to do that any longer. Those fans were encouraged to have an advanced plan," said Andy Major, Vice President of Operations and Guest Experiences with the Bills while appearing on the "Jeremy and Joe Show" on WGR. "Know which neighborhood lot you might be trying to go to, possibly take the NFTA Game Day Express, possibly use rideshare, and definitely, we suggest strongly to carpool. A lot of fans carpooled last year, that always makes a big difference. Less cars on the road, less people needing parking spots, it helps everybody out."

Sunday's kickoff in Orchard Park is slated for 1 p.m. ET. Fans are reminded that stadium lots open four hours before kickoff, while Highmark Stadium opens for fans two hours in advance of kickoff.
