Two Toledo-area homes that attracted considerable attention for their unusual characteristics have been sold to new owners.

The Secor Mansion at 311 Bush St., Toledo, was sold to Somo Ventures LLC. The purchase price was recorded as $110,000.

The 150-year-old home features 13-foot-tall ceilings, eight-foot-tall doorways, and antique fixtures throughout. It is zoned for commercial use.

On the same date, the home at 1360 Old Trail Rd., Maumee, formerly owned by Trudy Stranahan, was sold to Michael and Juliette Donovan for $375,000.

The house, which is completely sheathed in bulletproof Lexan panels, drew national attention when it was featured on the Zillow Gone Wild Facebook page. The five-acre parcel it sits on overlooks Silver Lake and Side Cut Metropark.

The sale was brokered by Jon Modene, a Perrysburg RE/MAX real estate agent.

“It wasn’t hard to sell,” Mr. Modene said. “We had multiple offers for it.”

Mr. Modene was circumspect about the house’s new owners, except to say that they had moved in and were renovating the property.

Four large semi trailers could be seen parked at the house on Tuesday.
