Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese is amid a historic WNBA rookie season. While Chicago has struggled since the Olympic break, losing six-straight games and seven of their last eight, Reese has put up big numbers since the WNBA schedule resumed.

Averaging 12.8 points and 16.5 rebounds in her eight games since the Olympic break, Reese has broken two major WNBA records in her last two games.

Becoming the WNBA's single-season rookie double-double leader (23) in Friday's loss to the Indiana Fever, Reese followed that record-breaking performance by becoming the league's single-season rebounding leader (405) in her next game against the Minnesota Lynx.

Consistently making history on the court, Reese also recently made history off the court.

After it was announced that Reese is set to receive her own signature shoe from Reebok, Sports Business Journal revealed the Sky rookie will join WNBA legend Rebecca Lobo as just the second player to ever receive a signature shoe from the brand.

Reese continues to make big moves off the court. The star rookie has struck numerous brand deals that include Reese's Pieces, Beats by Dre, Amazon, PlayStation and more.

This latest announcement not only increases Reese's already strong impact on women's basketball, but it places her in historic company as well.

Lobo, who Reese joins on this historic list, played six seasons in the WNBA after a legendary collegiate career at UConn. Now a television analyst, Lobo was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017.

Already in elite company with several all-time greats, Reese joins another with this Reebok announcement.
