AEW Continental Title Match Added To 9/4 AEW Dynamite

Kazuchika Okada will defend the gold on AEW Dynamite .

Tony Khan announced that Kazuchika Okada will defend the AEW Continental Championship against Kyle Fletcher on the September 4 episode of AEW Dynamite. Fletcher, a former ROH World Television Champion, beat Tomohiro Ishii on the August 31 episode of AEW Collision.

Okada recently defended the title against Claudio Castagnoli on the August 21 episode of Dynamite, and the match ended in a time-limit draw.

The updated card is as follows:

• AEW Continental Championship : Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher
• AEW Women’s World Championship : Mariah May (c) vs. Nyla Rose
• Will Ospreay, Orange Cassidy & Kyle O’Reilly vs. PAC, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta
