Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah looks in fine shape just days after helping the Reds to a 3-0 win over rivals Manchester United .

The Egyptian was on the scoresheet for the third consecutive game last Sunday as Arne Slot's side dispatched Man United at Old Trafford. Salah scored Liverpool's third, producing a sublime first-time finish that beat Andre Onana.

He also registered two assists against United, delivering a excellent cross into the path of Luis Diaz who headed Liverpool in front. And then later in the first half, he turned provider again for Diaz, firing the ball into his path before the Colombian fired home past Onana.

The 32-year-old is in fine form right now, and looks to be in excellent shape after his impressive performance against United. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Salah posted a story of himself getting back to work in the gym, displaying his shredded physique for his 62.3million followers.

The Egyptian is in the final year of his contract at Anfield and could be set to leave at the end of the season should the Reds be unable to come to terms on an extension with Salah. And the Liverpool star, who has won everything there is to win in club football on Merseyside admitted on Sunday that he was in his "last year" with the Reds when speaking to Sky Sports after the win over United.

“As you know it's my last year in the club,” Salah said. "I just want to enjoy it and not think about it. I feel I'm free to play football and we'll see what will happen next year."

He then added: "I was coming to the game, I said look, it could be the last time [coming to Old Trafford]. Nobody talked to me yet about contracts, so I just play my last season, and we'll see at the end of the season. But so far, yeah, my last game here with Liverpool."

Liverpool.com says: "Salah's performances this season might force Liverpool's hand into giving him a new deal, because frankly, the Egyptian is still one of the best in the world. While he might have dropped off a bit last term following the African Cup of Nations, Salah looks back to his best this season. Liverpool cannot afford to lose him next summer if he continues to produce at this level."
