Southeast Wisconsin weather: Clear and nice Wednesday night, warmer Thursday

It's been a fantastic late summer day with sunshine and temperatures in the 70s. A few spots topped out above 80 degrees. We'll see a surge of warmer and more humid air move in late tonight and into tomorrow. This will eventually set up a chance for showers and storms Thursday afternoon and evening. This is not a guaranteed rain and only up to a half inch is possible.

A shot of cool Autumn air follows Friday and into the weekend. Highs Saturday will only be in the lower half of the 60s! It'll also be breezy, making it feel even cooler.

Roller coaster September weather continues with a big warm up expected next week.
