This cocktail is projected to rake in over $10 million in sales this year, which is enough to cover the prize money for both the men's and women's singles champions. Last year, the tournament sold more than 450,000 Honey Deuces, even with a price tag of $22 — a bit pricey, but pretty standard for cocktails in many NYC bars.

This year, the drink costs $23 and can be found at concession stands at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York, where the tournament takes place.

So far, Grey Goose reports that over 2.2 million Honey Deuce cocktails have been sold. They come in a trendy, collectible acrylic cup that some even consider a fashion statement. The drink gets its name from the tennis term for a score of 40-40.

Here is how to make GREY GOOSE® Honey Deuce™ at home

Enjoy this cocktail at home at the fraction of the price.

    Ingredients you will need:

    • 1 ¼ oz GREY GOOSE® Vodka
    • 3 oz Fresh Lemonade - see the recipe below for single serving lemonade recipe
    • ½ oz Premium Raspberry Liqueur - see recipe notes
    • 3 Honeydew Melon Balls

Recipe for single serving of fresh lemonade:

    • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
    • ¼ cup hot water
    • 3 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice
    • 1 small lemon
    • ¾ cup cold water

    Directions:

Step 1: Take a chilled highball glass and fill it with cubed ice. Pour in the GREY GOOSE® Vodka.

Step 2: Add the fresh lemonade and the raspberry liqueur.

Step 3: To complete the cocktail, garnish it with a skewer featuring one or more honeydew melon balls.

Step 4: ENJOY and ALWAYS drink responsibly!

RECIPE NOTES: These are the instructions by Grey Goose, we recommend shaking the cocktail in a cocktail shaker to incorporate all the ingredients before serving.

You can use your favorite vodka brand for this recipe. As for the raspberry liquor we recommend Chambord.

Chambord liqueur is a black raspberry liqueur made in the Loire Valley of France. It's made with raspberries, blackberries, cognac, vanilla, honey, and citrus peels. Chambord is known for its unique flavor, that no other brand has. It's fantastic!
