The new Dancing with the Stars cast was revealed on ABC's Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Dancing with the Star's 33rd season premieres on September 17 with a great cast of celebrities.

During the weather portion of the morning show, Ginger Zee, chief meteorologist and former Dancing with the Stars contestant, reported the weather in Dancing Point, Virginia to tie in with the theme of the dancing segment.

About Dancing Point

According to Wikipedia, Dancing Point is a historic property on the north bank of the James River in rural Charles City County, Virginia. Located off Sandy Point Road and projecting into the river, the property has archaeological sites dating to the early colonial period of Virginia's history that may shed light on the interaction between the early settlers of nearby Jamestown and the surrounding Native American communities. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.
