I hate ppl who hang wallpaper! The house I just bought was covered in 70’s trash! Three weeks to peel it off scrape the glue off and sand to prep walls for paint. Sone rooms had three layers of paper and each layer was painted making it a bitch to penetrate with glue dissolver. If you don’t plan on living there long do as you like but the next owner may just dump 50lbsof crap paper on your new lawn. YES I DID!

depends. type of wallpaper, age of paper, surface under paper. generally, it shouldn't be a problem. if you have doubts, consult a pro.
