    Police investigate stolen jewelry, guns

    Richmond Township, Pa. — State police are investigating the theft of numerous items from a home in Tioga County, including jewelry and guns.

    Troopers from PSP Mansfield said the items were stolen some time between Aug. 17 and Aug. 20 from a home on the 1000 block of Mulberry Hill Road, Richmond Township.

    Stolen items include a Springfield Arms Company .22 caliber bolt action rifle with blonde stock, valued at $200; a Henry Gun Company H001L Henry lever action rifle with walnut-colored stock, valued at $400; and two class rings from Williamson High School, each valued at $300. The stolen rings are from the class of 1959 and 1964.

    The victim, a 78-year-old Mansfield woman, reported the items missing. The investigation is ongoing, and police urge anyone with information to call 570-662-2151.
