This is comical considering most of the flooding actually comes inland and doesn’t batter the coast. Only when it is a direct hit of a cat 3 or more does it ever really have an impact of the shoreline. We will see some flooding with a cat 1 but not anything like Wake county gets. The entire state does not live on the coast line. Hell, look at what 2018 did! Trenton never recovered! Most people in North Carolina are in a flood zone and yet Joey never allowed anyone to update the maps! In fact he let 40k policies lapse because he failed to get off his ass and resign them! Moron!!! You all need to check your flood insurance and if you don’t have it then you need to get it! Most floods happen because the debris clogs up the storm drains and not because of the actual storm.
