Wells Fargo Employee In Arizona Was Reportedly Dead In Her Cubicle For Four Days Before Someone Noticed

Watch out - your employer might literally work you to death . Everyone's favorite scandal-ridden bank, Wells Fargo, is in the news for all the wrong reasons once again. It's being reported that one of their bank branches in Arizona unfortunately had one of their employees pass away... while they were on the job. That's a sad enough story as it is, but what makes matters worse is that the 60-year-old woman named Denise Prudhomme may have died in her cubicle days before anyone noticed. Preliminary reports say that Prudhomme might have passed away and gone four days without being noticed. The Wells Fargo building in Arizona has confirmed that Denise entered the office at 7 a.m. on August 16th. There were then no indications that she left the office, and on August 20th, the security in the building called the police after discovering Prudhomme unresponsive at her desk. When authorities arrived, the 60-year-old employee was pronounced dead at the scene. According to employees that worked along with Prudhomme, her cubicle was off to the side and away from the rest that were set up in a central aisle on the building's third floor. One anonymous co-worker told CBS 12 Ne ws Arizona that someone should have taken notice of Denise's passing: "Several people smelled a foul odor but passed it off as faulty plumbing. The building has 24/7 security and someone should have found Prudhomme sooner." Upon the initial investigation, the authorities do not suspect foul play in Prudhomme's death. Ruben Pulido, a spokesperson Wells Fargo spokesperson, provided this statement to CNN: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague, Denise Prudhomme.
