Weezer celebrates 30 years of the ‘Blue Album’ with a massive box set offer

We're about to be in the throes of Weezer season as the band gears up to celebrate 30 years since the release of their fan-favorite, 3X-Platinum breakout debut -- the Blue Album -- with a ton of special treats.

Celebrating three decades of their seminal full-length debut -- best known as the Blue Album -- Weezer has revealed a massive 30th Anniversary Edition set for release on November 1.

A must-have for superfans, the new 30th Anniversary release will be offered in several formats, including a huge Super Deluxe box set with 4LPs, a 10-inch, and a 7-inch, plus a Deluxe 3CD set, and of course, digital versions. For the real die-hards, an Ultra Limited to 100 edition box set, with all of the features of the Super Deluxe Edition, wrapped in an actual knitted sweater with retractable loose thread and completed with a signed certificate by each band member.

The Blue Album will also be available in a variety of vinyl offerings including: 2LP 45 rpm half-speed mastering vinyl - 180-gram black vinyl, housed in a premium gatefold jacket wrapped in silver foil paper with bonus photos and an exclusive poster on silver foil paper; 1LP Zoetrope Picture Disc; 1LP Ghostly Blue & Clear Color Vinyl, and more.

50 songs in total are coming your way, with 36 of which are previously unreleased tracks (encompassing 8 “Kitchen Tape Demos”), 22 early practices and live recordings, 6 BBC radio recordings – two of which have never been heard before – and 4 tracks from their LMU sessions.
