Lawyer delivers verdict on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's 'bizarre' PR breakup plan

After an alleged public relations plan about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce 's relationship leaked, questions about its authenticity rose.

When rumors about the couple began swirling last year, many wondered if it were simply a faux relationship for PR reasons. However, the pair quickly made it clear that they were very lovey dovey after the pop star began appearing frequently at Travis' games and the football pro even came out on stage with Taylor at her Eras Tour.

Now, a document with Full Scope Public Relations, Travis' PR company, branding surfaced, causing speculation about the authenticity of the pair's relationship. However, entertainment attorney Jonathan Handel told The Mirror he isn't convinced about the credibility.

"Sounds completely bizarre," he said. In fact, Jonathan explained that he's dealt with purported acting agreements in the past and they haven't held up well in court. He added: "I wonder too whether reading the purported contract would indicate inconsistencies between the content and whoever is supposed to be the author."

He warned fans to be on the look out for "content, coherence, capitalization and even punctuation" when examining documents like this one as it "can help form a judgment as to whether something was written by a lawyer or not."

The plan outlined in the document falls inline with strategies that the founder of the company, Jack Ketsoyan, previously confessed to using. He's a fan of using "showmances" to stir up chatter. He said on the Mamamia's The Quicky podcast: "It's to be able to sell the hype of it – whether a concert, album… or getting people to go to see the movie, it all about the hype at the moment."

Despite that viewpoint, the company denies that there is a plan in the works for Taylor and Travis to seemingly split later this month. The document further outlined a statement that might be used about their break up, something that Taylor didn't do when she broke from Joe Alwyn previously.

The statement example said: "Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other's personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time."

However, a representative from the company denies the document's authenticity, claiming its fabricated. They told the Daily Mail : "We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents."
