Public schools are not there to provide full time care for a special needs individual. The staff tried to help her including the nurse and ems. The parents should have placed her in an appropriate facility for full time care if she couldn’t get through a normal school day without soiling herself.

A child with special needs should have a person trained in special needs tending to that child!! PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS ARE NOT MEDICALLY TRAINED TO CARE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS!!! The child should have had personalized care. Public schools are not designed for that. The death of this child was caused by the parents' lack of providing proper personal care.
