It dangerous to ride along the side of any commercial vehicle, the bigger the rig the larger their blind spot is. Its big enough a full size car could be right next to them and they wouldn't know it. Rule of thumb, if you don't see the truck driver in his side mirror he can't see your vehicle and doesn't even realize your there.
