Video of a shocking moment has been making the rounds on social media lateley. The incident happened in the waters of Bodrum, Turkey, when a massive superyacht collided with a much smaller vessel.

News reports revealed that the dramatic footage, captured by a bystander, shows the superyacht "Ice" barreling into the rear of the smaller yacht, "A.Mey," causing it to spin uncontrollably.

The collision, which was accompanied by a deafening impact and the thrashing of waves, sent shockwaves through the local community. The "Ice," valued at £86 million, continued to push the smaller yacht, seemingly without stopping.

"A.Mey" was dragged along for some time as onlookers watched in horror. The extent of the damage to both vessels is still being assessed, but it's clear that "A.Mey" suffered significant damage to its aft section.

This incident is not the first time a superyacht has been involved in a high-profile collision. In July, the 78.2-meter Feadship superyacht "Venus" collided with the 104.6-meter "Lady Moura" off the coast of Naples, Italy.

According to a source close to the matter, a sudden change in wind conditions was the cause of the "Venus" and "Lady Moura" collision. "On July 22, while at anchor, Venus came into contact with Lady Moura, which was also anchored," the source said.

The source confirmed that no family members were on board either yacht at the time of the incident. "The wind changed very suddenly, going from an easy breeze to bursting to 55 knots in just a few minutes," the source explained.

Despite the dramatic nature of the collision, the damage to both yachts was minimal.

The incident was captured on video by Mexican businessman Ricardo Salinas, the owner of "Lady Moura." In the footage, Salinas and his crew can be heard yelling and screaming as the "Venus" approaches.

Salinas, who released the video on social media, blamed the crew of the "Venus" for the collision, criticizing their handling of the superyacht.

The video, captioned in Spanish, highlights the close call and the potential dangers of operating such large vessels in unpredictable weather conditions.
