    Festivals and Events Happening this Weekend: September 5 through September 8

    The first full weekend of September has only a few festivals going on, but football season has begun. You can catch the LSU football game or celebrate Fall and Bigfoot.

    LSU Football Vs. Nicholls - Baton Rouge - September 7

    North Stadium Road

    LSU meets Nicholls State at Tiger Stadium in the first regular season football matchup. Kickoff time is 6:30 PM. Watch it on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.

    Fall Fest at Cotile Lake Recreation Park - Boyce - September 7

    75 Cotile Lake Road

    Enjoy food trucks and entertainment for the kids while you shop with over 100 vendors at Fall Fest at Cotile Lake Recreation Park in Boyce. The Clifton Swamp Band will provide music from 1 to 4 PM.

    Gates are open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission is $5 per car.

    Natchitoches Louisiana Bigfoot Festival - September 7

    750 2nd Street

    The Louisiana Big Foot Hunters presents a family-friendly event focusing on wildlife, the outdoors, and of course, Bigfoot. The 1st Annual Natchitoches Louisiana Bigfoot Festival features local speakers, vendors, outdoor equipment displays, food trucks, and more at the Natchitoches Events Center.

    Hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission is $10 for those over 12 and $5 for those under.
