    Medford has extremely toxic air. Due to I-5 carbon monoxide emissions running straight through the middle and the air inversion that Medford experiences weekly it traps small particulates that are extremely difficult for our lungs to expunge. This is why Medford children and elderly suffer from high numbers of asthma attacks .
