Creeks and rivers flood...levees and walls just push the water somewhere else. Remember that old margarine commercial, "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature."

Wonder if those walls will make other areas flood where it normally wouldn't. Eureka has really went down hill and needs road improvements along with revamping.
