    Bills Release Wednesday Injury Report

    By Colin Miller,

    2024-09-05

With the first game of the Buffalo Bills' 2024 season just four days away, the team is likely pretty satisfied with their current injury report. The team had just one player miss Wednesday's practice and one player marked as a limited participant, while the rest of the team fully participated.

The one player who missed practice was rookie defensive end Javon Solomon, who is dealing with an oblique injury. His status for Sunday is currently unknown, although he likely won't see the field much regardless, as he falls behind veterans Greg Rousseau, AJ Epenesa and Von Miller on the depth chart.

The limited player was backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky, who is recovering from a knee injury he suffered in the preseason. Trubisky's status for Sunday is also uncertain, but if he is unable to play, third-string quarterback Mike White will be elevated from the practice squad to take his place as the backup.

Multiple players who were previously on the injury report practiced in-full, including safety Cole Bishop, tight end Quinton Morris and wide receiver Curtis Samuel. All three are expected to be available to play on Sunday.

This injury report may come as a surprise to many Bills fans, as the team struggled with injuries throughout the majority of training camp and preseason. Now, they're healing up at the right time before the team faces off against the Arizona Cardinals.
