Caitlin Clark's Interaction With Sparks Star Is Turning Heads

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever hosted the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday. They walked into the game riding a four-game win streak and extended that streak to five after a 93-86 victory.

Before the game, Clark was seen greeting Sparks star Dearcia Hamby. The rookie shared a hug with Hamby just before she recorded another historic performance.

The interaction between Clark and Hamby has received over 40k views since the video was released on social media.

Following the hug between Clark and Hamby and a couple of greetings from other L.A. players, the rookie took over in Indiana.

She posted her second career triple-double with 24 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds.

The rookie has been sensational for the Indiana Fever all season.

Heading into the match against the Sparks, Clark was averaging 18.7 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.6 rebounds per game. She leads all rookies in average points and leads the WNBA in average assists.

Clark was recently named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month after averaging 24.0 points, 8.5 assists, and 5.2 rebounds per game in August.

As the Fever ride the hot hand, currently on a five-game win streak and at 18-16, they'll look to continue their success against the No. 3-seeded Minnesota Lynx on Sept. 6.

Indiana has already clinched a playoff spot, with six games left on their season schedule, five of which will be played at home.
