Bus and car crash near Idaho National Laboratory

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - An accident involving a car and a bus occurred near the junction of Highway 20 and 26. According to a tip from a viewer, the accident took place around 5:45 p.m. on September 4th. As seen in the image above, the car was overturned in the accident.

This road needs to be two lanes, each direction, all the way to Arco. It's unsafe. It may be only two times a day that that part of the highway is busy, but there's way too much traffic at those times for a two lane road. The Idaho Department of Transportation continues to ignore and address the need, while also endangering Idahoans because that road is only busy 2 times a day!
