Fox News had no time for live questions from the audience during its town hall with former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania on Wednesday.

After an hour-long interview with Trump in front of a live audience in Harrisburg, Fox News host Sean Hannity announced, “Unlike Kamala Harris , our time is actually up. However, we’re gonna let Dave McCormick ask the first question and we’re gonna air that not tonight, but tomorrow night.”

“He always does this,” responded Trump, to which Hannity acknowledged, “I do.”

Trump mocked, “You know what, let’s make two shows out of it!”

Fox News has previously split its town halls into two parts, airing the “live” question portion in recorded form the day after.

Questions from the audience are the central component of political town halls and are typically aired live.

Thirty minutes into the town hall, and without a single question from the live audience, progressive social media influencer Aaron Rupar noted , “There still has not been a single audience question lol. It’s just the same interview these guys always do with a studio audience.”

“A Townhall is for questions from the people not to hear the host talk through the whole freaking thing,” complained one viewer on social media, while another tweeted , “All he does is waste time talking the entire time, when he should be having the audience ask the questions instead. That’s what a town hall is supposed to be, otherwise just call it an interview in front of a live studio audience!”

During Fox News’s town hall on Wednesday, Trump told Pennsylvanians they had “no choice” but to vote for him, “even if you don’t like me,” citing Vice President Kamala Harris’s previous promise to ban fracking in the United States if elected president.
