Challenge Butter, a household staple and the flagship brand of Challenge Dairy Products, is celebrating National Breakfast Month by unveiling new insights into America’s love affair with breakfast. In a recent survey of 1,000 respondents, Challenge discovered that breakfast isn’t just the most important meal of the day—it’s the most beloved, with Americans enjoying breakfast foods at all hours, including dinner time.

The survey revealed that an impressive 86% of respondents love indulging in breakfast for dinner, and more than three-fourths admit to eating last night’s leftovers for breakfast. Most prefer the comfort of home-cooked breakfasts over grab-and-go options, emphasizing the role of breakfast as a source of comfort and creativity.

"Breakfast has always been more than just a meal—it's a moment of comfort and optimism," said Priya Kumar, VP of Marketing at Challenge Dairy. Whether it’s pancakes or creative leftover transformations, Challenge Butter aims to enhance every breakfast bite.

Pancakes and waffles emerged as weekend favorites for 65% of respondents, while savory dishes like eggs and omelets followed closely at 64%. Interestingly, while 22% of respondents place butter on top of their pancake stack, a majority (71%) prefer to layer butter between each pancake.
