A new restaurant is coming to Hudson, Ohio

HUDSON, OH - A popular restaurant chain is opening a new location in the city on Monday.

Are you a fan of Barrio Tacos? If the answer is yes, you might want to know that the chain is opening a new restaurant in Hudson at 36 Park Ln. According to the restaurant's social media account, the Hudson location will celebrate its grand opening on Monday, September 9 at 3 PM. The first 50 customers to attend the event will win a year's worth of free queso.

Barrio is known for its customizable tacos. Customers can choose between hard corn tortillas, soft corn tortillas, soft flour tortillas, the bombshell (which combines a soft flour tortilla and a hard corn tortilla with queso and bacon bits), green goddess (which combines a soft flour tortilla and a hard corn tortilla with queso and guacamole), and stoner (which combines a soft flour tortilla and a hard corn tortilla with queso and chorizo). You can also get a rice bowl instead of tacos (for those with dietary restrictions, the restaurant offers cauliflower rice).

Barrio offers a variety of protein options: Coca-Cola marinated steak, chorizo, braised short rib, chili spiced ground sirloin, pulled pork, thick-cut bacon, spiced rubbed chicken, jalapeno lime shrimp, and the fish of the day. The restaurant also has meatless options like sweet potatoes, black beans, pan-seared portobellos, thai chili tofu, cauliflower rice with pineapple vinaigrette, and cilantro lime rice.

The chain also has a variety of toppings like queso fresco (a semi-soft mild cheese), smoked cheddar, chihuahua cheese, caramelized onions & poblanos, lettuce, cilantro & onions, pico de gallo, napa slaw, pineapple salsa, salsa verde, corn salsa, and salsa roja. Furthermore, Barrio has a wide selection of sauce options: cilantro pesto, crack sauce (a spicy ranch), cilantro lime aioli, Barrio's super spicy secret sauce, chipotle crema, sweet & spicy dirty sauce, chipotle honey BBQ sauce, Carolina reaper, and mango habanero.

If you want something to drink, Barrio offers a variety of margaritas like the Freaky Tiki (which has jalapeño-infused El Jimador Blanco, triple sec, passionfruit, pineapple, house sour mix, a chili-lime salt rim, and jalapeño) and the Tulum in Bloom, which has Corazon Blanco, ginger liqueur, lychee, and house sour mix.
