( NewsNation ) — The Food City 300, the final race of the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ regular season, will be the first race broadcast by NewsNation partner station The CW, followed by all seven of this year’s playoff races .

Charlotte Motor Speedway President Greg Walter joined NewsNation’s Anna Kooiman on Thursday to share a glimpse into what NASCAR fans can expect for the Food City 300 on Sept. 20 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

This year, the course is different, adding additional and tighter turns, Walter said.

“It’s like a brand new racetrack,” Walter said.
