OK, and since battery's don't last all that long, what are you going to do with them when they no longer store electricity? That's the bigger question, before you even consider this idea, you need to come up with a long term plan for what happens at the end of the battery's life! If that he'd been considered 6 or 7 decades ago, we wouldn't be sitting in close proximity to a major disaster waiting to happen called Hanford!
