NFL Star QB Unexpectedly Appears on Team's Injury Report After Being Labeled 'Healthy'

With the NFL season beginning, this is when players show up on injury reports on a week-to-week basis, and the NFL has strengthened the rules on placing players with a labeled injury at any point prior to the game.

For example, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was on the latest injury report with his past wrist injury even though he's participated all off-season. The injury occurred last season, but the Bengals still had to list him as a full participant.

That occurred in some aspect on Thursday after the league notified the Los Angeles Chargers that they must put quarterback Justin Herbert on the injury report ahead of Sunday’s game despite being deemed healthy by head coach Jim Harbaugh .

Herbert suffered a foot injury on July 31st that led him to miss a massive chunk of the offseason, which is obviously different from the situation that Burrow is in; however, Herbert shut down any claims ahead of Week 1 that were controversial. Saying he's back to 100% . He was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.
