Cruise Line Invites Couples to Get Married at Sea for a $4,000 Minimum

For couples dreaming of a magical and unique wedding ceremony at sea, Disney Cruise Line has announced a new venue aboard its upcoming ship, the Disney Destiny.

Set to debut in November 2025, the ship will offer couples the opportunity to exchange vows in the stunning Grand Hall, inspired by the "heroes and villains" theme.

The Grand Hall, featuring a statue honoring Chadwick Boseman's iconic Black Panther character, will serve as the primary ceremony venue.

Couples can choose from a variety of wedding packages, starting at $4,000, which include essential services like a wedding planner, an onboard coordinator, a live musician, and an officiant.

Following the ceremony, newlyweds and their guests can celebrate with a private Cake & Champagne reception. The Grand Hall can accommodate up to 40 guests, making it ideal for intimate weddings.

For couples seeking a more private or larger ceremony, Disney Cruise Line also offers The Wedding Pointe on Castaway Cay, the company's private island destination. This picturesque venue boasts stunning ocean views and can accommodate up to 75 guests.

While the Grand Hall and The Wedding Pointe are the primary options, Disney Cruise Line has a variety of other wedding venues available across its fleet. Each ship offers unique features and themes, ensuring a personalized experience for every couple.

In addition to the ceremony and reception, Disney Cruise Line's wedding packages include a range of other amenities. Couples can enjoy a complimentary meal at Palo, one of the ship's adults-only fine dining venues, and receive a commemorative Disney Cruise Line wedding certificate.

While the basic packages provide a solid foundation, couples can customize their wedding by adding extra touches like upgraded floral arrangements, personalized flowers for the wedding party, and more guests beyond the 16 included in the package.

It's important to note that the cost of the wedding does not include the cost of the sailing for the couple or their guests, as well as travel arrangements to and from the cruise port.
