    Garlic Cream Cheese Pork Chops

    2024-09-06

Our family loves this recipe! It's creamy, garlicky, and dang delicious! You can bake them (instructions below) or cook them in the slow cooker. Here's what you'll need to make 4 servings:

    Ingredients:

    • 1 1/2 pounds boneless pork chops, about 1 inch thick
    • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup sour cream
    • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
    • 1/4 tsp salt, or to taste
    • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper, or to taste
    • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
    • 1/4 cup chopped green onions or chives, divided
    • Freash parsley, chopped, optional

First, preheat the oven to 400˚F.
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, and all but 1-2 tablespoons of the green onions or chives until well combined.

Spread a few spoonfuls of the garlic cheese sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 casserole dish to coat it.

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and arrange them in a single layer in the prepared dish. Place a generous spoonful of the garlic cheese mixture on top of each pork chop and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145˚F. If you prefer, broil for the last 1-2 minutes to achieve a nice browned color on the edges of the cheese.

Garnish with parsley and the reserved green onions or chives, if desired, and serve warm. Enjoy!

    * Notes:

This recipe pairs well with a side of rice, noodles, baked potato, or a grilled vegetable mix.
