Stephen Nedoroscik, a.k.a "The Pommel Horse Guy," turned into a viral sensation during the 2024 Paris Olympics. While Nedoroscik only competes on one apparatus, his performance on the pommel horse helped the men's national team win its first medal in 16 years.

Nedoroscik, the only male gymnast from Team USA to qualify for an individual event, won a second bronze medal during the Pommel Horse Final. The bespectacled gymnast became America's sweetheart and fans were thrilled to learn Nedoroscik joined season 33 of "Dancing With the Stars."

However, the same can't be said about another contestant on ABC's competition series, Anna Delvey, a con artist convicted of eight felonies and sentenced four to 12 years in prison in 2019. She served less than four years before being released on good behavior.

The network faced immediate backlash for including Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin. She remains on house arrest while fighting her deportation case and needed permission from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) to compete on the show.

Nedoroscik, however, made it clear that he has no issues with Delvey being a contestant, and replied to the 33-year-old's friendly competition banter on Instagram.

Delvey posted a photo with Nedoroscik on her Instagram Stories and wrote "Latest enemy," and tagged the gymnast. He reposted the photo on his Instagram Stories and wrote, "Day one and I'm already making enemies 😤... (so great meeting you @theannadelvey !!!)."

Delvey was partnered with Ezra Sosa for 'DWTS' while Nedoroscik will compete alongside Rylee Arnold.

Nedoroscik's main focus, however, is fine-tuning his ballroom skills in rehearsal. "I think the approach to gymnastics is similar to the approach in dance," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "I’m out there learning a skill, and then I’m putting it in a routine, I’m training that, and then I’m performing in front of judges and a live audience.”

The show premieres on ABC on Tuesday, September 17.
