NOW: News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says the weather stays quiet for now but there are subtle changes on the way starting Friday. https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=3Rwe1G_0vMDxC0Y00
Rain is on the way for Saturday, but Friday should be OK. With the onshore wind flow, the humidity levels will begin to rise, especially near the Sound. Temperatures won't be quite as cool tonight, but still rather pleasant with lows in the lower 60s near the I-95 corridor. Slightly cooler 50s will stay north. NEW AND NEXT:

Light sprinkles are possible early Saturday with a few showers developing in the afternoon. The timing has sped up more on this and the main rain and even some thunderstorms are now likely in the early evening. Closer to dinnertime, the rain will briefly pick up. https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1DcYv0_0vMDxC0Y00

The rain should clear by about 8 p.m. now and the sky will gradually clear going into Sunday. Expect cooler conditions on Sunday now too. The added winds will also make it feel chillier. The fall feel is right back for early next week but then things will warm up a bit later on. https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1pGKCc_0vMDxC0Y00 The crescent moon and Venus will appear together in the evening twilight, very low in the sky on Thursday and Friday about 45 minutes after sunset.
