Zephyrhills neighbors concerned as floodwaters encroach on homes

Remember, just 10 short yrs ago most of the areas here in Zephyrhills were just acres and acres of land. Nobody paid attention to those areas cuz there was no houses there. Now, they're building more and more houses in these areas, and the owners of these newer homes had no idea it used to flood there all the time. Now they know.

I live in zhills.. and I’ve seen one street where they had to close it off cuz the water had risen pretty high.
