“Last month Newsom announced the state received a $600 million federal grant for upgrading 100 miles of electrical transmission lines with what's called grid enhancement technologies. The money was divided among a consortium of agencies, utilities and the operator of the state power grid.” Allow me to translate: the state’s chief swine will be sending another $600,000,000 to Perpetual Greed & Extortion to effectively do nothing to lower rates or improve their delivery systems in any meaningful way. $600,000,000 of taxpayer largesse. For some nebulous ‘new technology ‘ on 100 fucking miles of transmission lines. That’s $6,000,000 per mile for some snake-oil bullshit that’ll be installed somewhere in the desert AND DO NOTHING. Unbelievable.
