Love & Hip-Hop's Erica Banks slammed for sharing intimate footage of Rich Homie Quan after his death

Love & Hip-Hop star Erica Banks is being dragged online for sharing personal details on her past relationship with the late rapper Rich Homie Quan in the wake of his death.

Within hours of reports that the Southern rhymer had died, the Buss It rapper unveiled moments of her and Rich Homie Quan being cozy with each other. In a now-deleted post, Erica uploaded on Instagram, she paid tribute to RHQ, writing, "All you wanted was to find happiness again…" She added: "I always saw it in your face and heard it in your voice… But you had so much left to do…" The TV personality seemingly disclosed that Rich Homie Quan had a lot planned for the future like his kick-off tour, an album, and his upcoming 35th birthday on October 4.

"I’m just glad we were able to enjoy such peaceful and memorable moments while you were here man," Erica added. "Such a sweetheart! Rest in Paradise Quan…"

Erica memorialized him further in the aforementioned social media post with throwback footage of Rich kissing her face. Another slide in the post showed Rich Homie Quan appearing to be lying in Erica’s lap. The last intimate post in her carousel slide show seemingly displayed a text she got from Rich Homie Quan where he admitted his interest in her.

Erica might’ve had good intentions behind her Rich Homie Quan post, but many found it to be distasteful given the circumstances. Several on X, formerly Twitter, slammed Erica for exposing one-on-one time between her and Rich when his family and girlfriend Amber Williams were in mourning. Amber was the one who made the chilling call to 911 when she realized Rich hadn’t moved from the couch where she left him after she returned from taking her son to school Thursday morning.

One raged: “Erica Banks posting her and Quan right after his death while his girlfriend is mourning…nasty work."

Meanwhile, someone else ranted, "Y’all know that one person when somebody pass away comes out and shows OLD TEXT MESSAGES from 1932 of their relationship back when they were kids … that’s Erica Banks! Girl we did not need to know that you had dealings with Rich Homie Quan back in 2016."
