Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco Scores TD Moments After Vomiting on the Sideline

The Kansas City Chiefs are taking on the Baltimore Ravens in a thrilling Thursday Night Football matchup. Star running back, Isiah Pacheco punched one in from just over one yard out to give Kansas City a 20-10 lead in the third quarter.

However, Pacheco turned heads on social media as reports indicate that just moments before scoring that touchdown he ran to the sideline, fell to the ground, and vomited, according to Chiefs beat writer Matt Derrick.

Luckily for everyone not attending the game, there is no video of Pacheco vomiting on the sideline. Some feared that he may have suffered a concussion but the Chiefs' star running back is just fine.

It was a tough run for Pacheco to score the touchdown. Although it was just over one-yard out, the Ravens put up a fight. The referees surprisingly didn't blow the play dead as the Chiefs' eventually scored on the play. Patrick Mahomes even got involved to help Pacheco cross the goal line.

Pacheco has been efficient for the Chiefs in this game. He's helped on the ground and through the air, proving to be a dual-threat running back for Kansas City. Through three quarters, Pacheco has recorded 28 rushing yards, 23 receiving yards, and one touchdown.

It's not entirely clear what led to Pacheco vomiting on the sideline. We've seen football players puke on the field and sideline before and continue playing. So, perhaps that's all it was. More information regarding Pacheco's vomit situation could be revealed during Thursday night's post game interview.

Pacheco was a seventh-round pick for the Chiefs back in 2022 after he had a successful stint playing for the Rutgers Scarlett Knights. He proved to be a stud at the pro-level almost immediately playing a vital role in the backfield.

Last season, Pacheco took on a bigger role, finishing the year with 935 rushing yards, 244 receiving yards, and nine total touchdowns. He aims to have a career year this season as he's the feature back for the Chiefs.

Pacheco has played two full seasons in the NFL and already has two Super Bowl rings. He aims to help the Chiefs win a third Super Bowl in a row, which is something never done before in NFL history.
