Tia Mowry Tearfully Details Her Life After Divorce in Trailer for WE tv Reality Show

Tia Mowry will open the door on her life after divorce, in the upcoming WE tv reality series Tia Mowry: My Next Act.

The eight-episode show premieres Oct. 4, with the episodes also streaming on AMC Network’s ALLBLK platform.

The series follows Mowry as she “navigates her newly single status, a new phase of motherhood, as well as building businesses and juggling her ever-evolving career," WE tv said in a press release on Sept. 4.

In the newly released trailer, the actress discusses the challenges she now faces after splitting from former husband Cory Hardrict.

Mowry and the Divorce in the Black actor married in 2008. She announced on Instagram in 2022 that they were separating due to irreconcilable differences. Their divorce was finalized in April 2023, after 15 years of marriage.

“I got tired of people thinking that everything was perfect when it wasn’t. You want to know what really happened? I’ll tell you,” Mowry says in the trailer.

Special guests are shown offering her advice, including her on-screen Sister, Sister mom, actress Jackée Harry. As the two women sit on a couch together, Tia admits returning to the dating pool is scary.

“You gotta be out there and have fun. It’s hunting season child let me tell you,” Harry enthusiastically responds.

In other parts of the trailer, Mowry is shown going on different dates.

The series premieres Friday, Oct. 4 at 9:30pm ET/PT on WE tv, with new episodes available to stream on ALLBLK.
