Robert Griffin III Has Emotional Video Reaction to Ravens' Game-Losing Replay

Former Baltimore Ravens quarterback Robert Griffin III had a roller coaster reaction to watching his former team lose in dramatic fashion to the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday.

The Chiefs sealed a 27-20 win on the final play of regulation after an acrobatic touchdown catch by Ravens TE Isaiah Likely was overturned for stepping out of the back of the end zone. Slow-motion video replay showed Likely's right toe stepping out of bounds by mere inches.

Just before the referees overturned their original call, Griffin posted an emotional live reaction video. The 34-year-old also appeared stunned that Ravens coach John Harbaugh initially signaled that he was going for a two-point conversion to win the game.

"Let's go," Griffin began screaming into the camera. "They're going for two? ... Oh my gosh, Isaiah Likely was hurt, came back in and made the game-tying touchdown catch. Ooo we. Oh, we lit."

Seconds later, with his head in his hands, Griffin added, "Oh, no. Oh my God his foot was on the line."

After the emotions settled down, Griffin jokingly posted on X , "Couldn’t have asked for a better NFL season opening game. NFL script writers on a heater already. BRAVO."

Griffin spent his final three seasons with the Ravens between 2018 and 2020, appearing in 14 games (2 starts) as Lamar Jackson's backup.

The Ravens (0-1) head home to play the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2, while the Chiefs (1-0) take on the Cincinnati Bengals on CBS.
