Walmart Is Selling 'Comfortable' $20 Clog Slippers Similar to a Best-Selling UGG Style Over 6x the Price

Whether you think they’re cute or not, you can’t deny the popularity of UGG shoes. Between classic UGG boots to the growing popularity of their UGG clog slippers, the brand has shoe styles for everyone’s tastes. Unfortunately, they’re all on the more expensive side, but luckily, retailers like Walmart sell UGG lookalikes that are affordable. And one of Walmart’s best-selling clog slippers looks just like an UGG style that’s over six times the price.
We’re talking about Walmart’s best-selling Joyspun Women’s Ultra Short Platform Clog Slippers , which are currently $19.98. They have a classic slip-on clog style but with an added lip at the back of the heel. As the name suggests, it has a 1.5-inch platform outsole that’s made of 100% rubber.
These clog slippers also have a plush inner lining made with 100% faux shearling and the outside has a suede-like material made with 100% polyester. The opening of the shoe has a fun trim with textured fabric that stands out because it’s a slightly different color than the main part of the shoe.
Speaking of colors, Walmart’s Ultra Short Platform Clog Slippers come in four colors: chestnut, black, blue and green. All of them have white furry linings except the black ones, which have a black furry lining. And even though these only have 10 ratings and reviews, it’s deemed a “best seller” on Walmart’s website. And even with those handful of reviews, the consensus seems to be pretty positive.
"Grab these now!" one shopper wrote. "Do not pass these up. Stylish and on-trend without the Ugg-Ly high price tag! With this affordable price, you can have a pair to match all your outfits[.]"
Another person wrote that these are "very comfortable and affordable dupes" while one shopper said that they’re “so cute” and “sturdy,” plus people constantly compliment them. Plus, they wrote that Walmart’s clog slippers are “very similar to the Ugg [Tazz] style.”
On that note, Walmart’s Ultra Short Platform Clog Slippers are very similar to UGG’s Women's Tazz Slipper . They’re $130, currently available in six colors and are also a best seller.
Walmart’s slippers have the same design as these UGGs—most notably the continuous fabric around the foot, hugging the foot even though it’s still a slip-on clog shoe.
The UGG version is slightly taller with a 1.75-inch platform outsole. It also has a plush lining, but this one is made with real wool and the outside has real suede. A big difference is that these have a braided trim as opposed to Walmart’s fabric trim.
While a pair of clog slippers from Walmart aren’t going to feel the same as authentic UGG slippers, they look similar enough and get the job done; they keep your feet warm and comfy when you wear them. So if you’re down with that, while also saving a ton of money, then Walmart’s Joyspun Women’s Ultra Short Platform Clog Slippers are definitely worth checking out.
