We need to take care when we vote for our justices. The Supreme Court has been our safety net, ensuring our rights are not restricted. Legislators are accusing the justices of being politicized, but I dont think that is a valid accusation. They all swore an oath to uphold the constitution, but continue to legislate against it. The legislators are now attempting to remove power from the court. They are appealing a decision to the US supreme court that would allow them oversight of the court, they tried to change justice elections to districts instead of state wide, the want justice to run with party affiliation (aren't they supposed to be impartial?), they are talking about trying to create a separate appellate court with justices chosen by the governor, and the list goes on. ** We either vote differently in November or plan for millions more in court fees, continue to pay unfair taxes, and watch corporations exploit resources while the state become pay to play blocking our access.
