Former Tennessee Vols offensive lineman Trey Smith wasn't completely happy on Thursday night after the Kansas City Chiefs' season-opening win against the Baltimore Ravens.

Smith, who is in his fourth season with the Chiefs, was of course happy that Kansas City got the win, but he wasn't thrilled with quarterback Patrick Mahomes getting hit late.

At one point in the fourth quarter, Mahomes was clearly hit late by Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith. No flag was thrown on the play.

According to KCTV5's Marleah Campbell, after the game, Smith made it clear that he didn't care for the blatant late hit.

"I don't want to push boundaries, I don't want to get fined, but I don't like that," said Smith in reference to Mahomes getting hit late.

Smith was described last year by Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce as Kansas City's "enforcer".

That was as true as ever on Thursday night against the Ravens as Smith worked overtime to protect his quarterback.
