Shannon Beador Wanted to ‘Be Open and Honest’ by Sharing Bloodied Photo With Heather Dubrow

Shannon Beador deserves a long, relaxing vacation after all of the drama she’s endured during the current season of Real Housewives of Orange County . Shannon’s been taking responsibility following her horrific DUI which hasn’t been easy. However, some of her co-stars, and one disgruntled ex-boyfriend, seem determined to make it even harder.

Shannon has been thrown curveballs left and right during this season of RHOC. The latest issue involves some alleged video footage of Shannon on the night of her DUI that somehow makes her look even worse. Unsurprisingly, Shannon broke down when she heard about the latest hurdle. Rather than getting defensive or hiding from it, Shannon opted to be even more open and honest in a conversation with Heather Dubrow.

Shannon Beador is choosing the truth

The latest RHOC episode ended with Shannon showing Heather a harrowing photo of her face covered in blood from the night of her DUI. During a follow-up interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish , Shannon explained her decision to reveal the image. “I knew that at the moment, being that that photo was being filmed, it was gonna forever change if anyone Googles my name, that photo’s gonna come up,” Shannon said. “But at the same time, I want to be honest and truthful.”

Shannon explained that chose to share the image to be “open and honest about everything that happened with the DUI”. But that doesn’t mean she’s looking for sympathy. “I take responsibility for the very stupid choice that I made that night,” she added. While we’ll never condone Shannon’s decision to drive while intoxicated, it is so refreshing to see her let her guard down and accept responsibility for her actions.
