Henderson Residents: Get Your Kids Out of the House for a Glow in the Dark Nerf War

Today's youth spend far too much time staring at a screen. Anytime we get them out of the house to do something active with other children, it's a win.

The Valley View Recreation Center, which has served Henderson residents for over 20 years, has just the thing to get your kids out of the house.

A glow-in-the-dark nerf war.

Here's everything you need to know:

• Wear comfortable sneakers for our 10,000-square-foot glow-in-the-dark events.
• Bring your Nerf gun (labeled with your name), and we'll supply the strike darts (no mega darts).
• Protective eyewear is recommended.
• Dinner is provided.
• Late pickup charges apply.
