Why not live out your golden years in one of the best places to retire in the entire country?

Well, you don't really have to be retired to enjoy the splendor of the Massachusetts location we're going to discuss in this article, but you'll definitely have more free time to revel in the beauty, safety, and financial security of it all.

According to a list compiled by Wallet Hub , the best place to retire in Massachusetts is Boston due to its high affordability, activity, quality of life, and healthcare scores.

Here's what Wallet Hub had to say about sourcing the data to discover the best places to retire across the country:

"To help Americans find the best cities to spend their golden years, WalletHub compared the retirement-friendliness of 182 cities — including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state — across four key dimensions: 1) Affordability, 2) Activities, 3) Quality of Life and 4) Health Care. We evaluated those dimensions using 45 relevant metrics, which are listed below with their corresponding weights. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for retirement."

Unbelievable I just read the exact opposite on this same site! 2nd worst state to retire & many are forced to work longer or go back to work. Democrats open border from Harris & Biden & Healey using billions to pay for illegals shelter, 3 meals/day on a $10m no-bid contract & exhausted after a few months, now they get ebt cards, prepaid credit cards, driver licenses all at taxpayer expense. She won’t repeal the right to shelter law from days of another democrat, Dukakis. No end in site. Schools, social services & crime are overwhelmed so much our local taxes are going up $300-$500 per year. Living the dream in MA is a joke.
