SKIATOOK, Okla. — Three Skiatook schools are on an Off Campus Alert after a student allegedly made threatening statements.

In a Facebook post , Skiatook Public Schools said they learned of alleged threats made toward a school by a student on Thursday.

SPS notified local law enforcement and as a safety precaution, Newman Middle School, Skiatook Intermediate Elementary and Skiatook Elementary were placed on an Off Campus Alert around 7 a.m. Friday.

Safety precautions were initiated and law enforcement are at each school.

SPS said safety precautions will remain in place until Skiatook Police say otherwise. If parents need to pick up their child, they should check with the school office, the district said.
