The Chicago Bears certainly are expected to be better in 2024,

Chicago certainly was busy once the 2023 season and did everything it possibly could to guarantee that the team would be better in 2024. The Bears took a positive step forward last season, but it looks like things are going to be even better this season.

The Bears will begin a new era on Sunday when they take on the Tennessee Titans with Caleb Williams under center. Chicago drafted the phenom to be the team's quarterback for the foreseeable future and added weapons around him in Keenan Allen, D'Andre Swift, and fellow rookie Rome Odunze.

Things are looking up for the Bears, but they will have to monitor Allen over the next few days. He was listed as questionable on the injury report with a foot injury.

While this is the case, he is expected to be alright for Week 1 action, according to Pro Football Network's Alex Kennedy.

"Allen was absent from practice last Wednesday out of the blue with a foot issue," Kennedy said. "However, general manager Ryan Poles told reporters that the 'injury' was minor discomfort related to a cleat issue. Therefore, this isn’t expected to be an issue for Allen going forward."

The fact that he is expected to be alright for the clash should bode well for Bears fans. Williams has one of the best receiving trios to throw to in football in Allen, Odunze, and D.J. Moore. If Allen were to miss time, that certainly would hurt the offense.
