Some people here are clueless about purchasing firearms and ammo. There is a background check...you buy today, you pay background check. You bought yesterday, you paid for a background check. You buy next week, you will still pay for a background check. You pay background check EVERY SINGLE TIME. One idiot here says raising the fee for ammo background check will lessen the circulation of ammo and that you do not need much ammo to defend yourself. Obviously, he thinks you do not to practice in the shooting range to shoot more accurately. I guess he thinks pointing his gun at the mirror and screaming "pew pew" will make him proficient with his firearm.

Meanwhile the supreme court is even thinking about reversing the ban of machine gun sales, yet in California they want to charge more for access to a constitutional right? Who is the threat to democracy?
